What is it?

The world's first publicly available modular MSX sound card, fully supporting Y8950, YM3526, YM3812, YMF262, YMF289 (MSX-Audio, OPL1, OPL2, OPL3, OPL3-L). Runs correctly under MSXVGMPlay.

Uses only a single 5V power supply (no ±12V), compatible with all MSX including clones and single-chip MSX systems. Requires MSX-DOS2 or above and extended memory for VGMPlay.

Compatibility Notes

• For 1ChipMSX clones: use VGMPlay v1.2 (v1.3/1.4 have timer issues with OPL2/3)
• Likely not compatible with MSX TurboR (Panasonic A1-ST / A1-GT)
• Tested and working on MSX1/2/2+, 1ChipMSX, SM-X
