The EP4CE15F23 FPGA Core Board is a breakout board based on the Altera EP4CE15F23 FPGA chip. It is pin-compatible with the original QMTECH EP4CE15 version, making it a drop-in replacement for retro computer projects and FPGA experiments that previously relied on the QMTECH board.

Why did you make it?

In early 2024, QMTECH discontinued their EP4CE15 FPGA core board, leaving many ongoing projects without a compatible hardware source. With QMTECH's permission, this board was redesigned from scratch as a 4-layer PCB to extend the life of those projects and keep the community moving forward.
